This Sustainability Commitment outlines our vision of manufacturing towards a sustainable future enveloping our products, processes, and people within the communities we do business.
It is Cenveo’s Policy to conduct all activities in a sustainable manner, and operate our business in compliance with applicable environmental, safety, and social regulations. We are committed to continuous improvement of our people, processes, and products utilizing a management system that identifies, prioritizes and addresses environmental, sustainable, and social risks to minimize our impact on the environment and the communities in which we live and operate.

This Policy sets out Cenveo’s commitment to our Employees, Customers, Suppliers, and the Communities in which we operate. We expect everyone who works for and with Cenveo Worldwide Limited to apply the following key principles agreed to by the Executive Team to guide our work activities:
- Maintain, and where possible, exceed compliance with all applicable environmental, health, safety, and social rules and regulations
- Minimize the impact of our operations on our employees and the environment
- Offer and encourage the use of environmentally sustainable or eco-certified products to our customers
- Manage all sustainability matters as any other critical business activity
- Establish clear sustainability goals, strategies and performance standards
- Hold all employees accountable for environmental, health, safety, and sustainability compliance and performance
- Identify and minimize business critical risks and implement plans and procedures to manage and properly respond, and report any resulting impact
- Evaluate facility performance and use this information to enable continuous improvement

GOALS

REDUCE SCOPE 1 & SCOPE 2 GREENHOUSE GAS (GHG) EMISSIONS BY 65% FROM 2017 BASELINE BY 2030
- GHGs are those gases that trap heat in the atmosphere and have increased significantly due to various man-made sources.
- Our primary sources of emissions are electricity and fuel combustion.
- GHG Emissions from Scope 1 & Scope 2 sources are calculated in Metric Tons of CO2e (MtCO2e)
- According to National Institute of Environmental Health Sciences, Reducing GHG Emissions can improve air quality, and slow climate change.
Emissions Tracking:
- Track Scope 1 & Scope 2 GHG emissions from manufacturing operations.
- Investigate a means to track Scope 3 emissions.
Active Energy Conservation Activities:
- Upgrade to more energy efficient manufacturing and support equipment.
- Retrofit lighting at facilities to more efficient fixtures.

MAINTAIN WASTE DIVERSION RATE OF > 90% THROUGH 2025
Percentage of solid waste recycled as compared to the total municipal solid waste generated measured in metric tons.
Waste diversion redirects waste from landfills typically by recycling and repurposing. Diverting waste means less volume in landfills and lowering greenhouse gas emissions. Recycling or repurposing existing materials means that there is less need to extract and produce new materials.
